These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of FinPulzGenie ("FinPulzGenie", "we", "us", or "our"), including our website and applications. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use FinPulzGenie.

1. The service

FinPulzGenie is a personal-finance tool that lets you upload bank statements, then parses, categorizes, and analyzes them and provides an AI assistant that answers questions about your own finances. Features may change, improve, or be discontinued over time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use FinPulzGenie. By using the service you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate registration information and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use at hello@finpulzgenie.com.

4. Your content & uploads

You retain ownership of the statements and data you upload ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to operate the service for you — parsing, categorizing, generating insights, and answering your questions. You represent that you have the right to upload the statements you provide and that doing so does not violate any law or third-party right.

5. Acceptable use

• Don't upload data you are not authorized to use.
• Don't attempt to access other users' data or disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload the service.
• Don't use FinPulzGenie for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose.

The service relies on third-party providers (such as cloud hosting and AI processing) as described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

8. Intellectual property

FinPulzGenie and its software, design, and branding are owned by us and protected by law. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service; they do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FinPulzGenie and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from financial decisions made using the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the service and its users. On termination, your right to use the service ends, subject to the Privacy Policy's data-retention terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date and, for material changes, provide notice in the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
